Fun with Friends

Stepping off the plane from Chicago we unpacked and repacked for a fun filled week with our friends--Jon, Hillary, Leighton and their new baby Corbin. 

Jon and Jack thought it'd be fun to rent a lake house and relax pool side for a few days. It was SO good to see them--we hadn't seen the Cumberworth's since Christmas and it felt like a lifetime without our dear friends! 

 

 Not gonna lie, having 4 kids all under the age of 3 under one roof was a bit chaotic at times, but overall we had a blast and the kids had so much fun together.

James thoroughly enjoyed Corbin's company/they didn't even realize they were next to each other half the time. Still, it was fun to see them together :)

 ...and Jackson LOVED having Leighton around. He thought she was the best and she thought he was, well, a little much. It was too funny. I think he just talks too much and sweet Leighton is a little more reserved. Still though, they had fun together and bonded over tv shows and books...

Jon, Hil and the kids have left back to Dubai for now, where they're still living (BOO!) but I'm glad our families got to hang out together. It was much needed combined family time :)
