Biker Dudes

For the longest time Jack has been wanting to purchase a bike and a bike pod to haul the boys around in. His dream finally came to fruition when he decided to pull the trigger on the countless hours of research he had done on bikes/bike pods by purchasing one. I'm fairly certain he spent more time researching the pod than researching our car purchases, but whatever. It's done. Thank God. 

Just getting it home was quite the adventure: 

Putting it together was another one. Jackson and James insisted on staying outside while their dada put it together so Jackson ate dinner on the driveway and James did some tummy time in the back of the car...

Then they were off! James is still too little to partake in biking adventures so Jackson invited Chaucer instead. 

 It didn't stop us from taking pictures of James in there though...

 Jackson (and Chaucer) have now ridden in the pod a few times. It gets us outside, it's an insane amount of exercise for both Jack and I (hauling around that extra weight is HARD) and most importantly--Jackson loves it. I'm sure James will too when he's old enough to ride. In the meantime, Chaucer's keeping the seat warm for him ;).
