Nursery

So I know I added pictures the other day but his aunt Sophia pointed out they weren't good ones. She's right, they weren't too indicative of the true colors of the room. Hopefully you can tell more details in these and soon we'll have a little punk to put in them ;)

Preggo update: I'm still feeling the same y'all :( absolutely NO indication of this little one being born anytime soon. I promise as soon as it happens though I'll keep y'all posted. My 40 wk Dr's appt is on Wednesday so hopefully she'll give me some new news?!?!?

39 Week Shot...Hopefully my last!

See! There's not much room in there! Surely he'll realize this soon right?!?!?!

Ummmm did I mention I was ready????

So now we've hit the 39 week mark. This punk is fully developed, kicking like mad, and wayyyyyy to comfy in there. I had my weekly Dr's appt and we played the same old song and dance. Just as dilated, just as effaced, everything looks good, could be today, could be two weeks.

In the meantime, I truly appreciate all the phone calls, texts, emails, etc. and I PROMISE PROMISE PROMISE to let y'all know as soon as this little one makes his appearance, PROMISE. Believe me when I say NO ONE wants to meet him more than his mom and no one is more curious to see his tiny little precious face more than us and I cannot wait to share this with each and every one of you.

We are truly blessed to have you all in our lives and this baby is veryyyyy lucky to have such doting admirers. Thank you all for your support and what can help us now more than ever are your thoughts and prayers for this little miracle who keeps us all waiting sooooo anxiously! Fingers crossed it won't be too much longer! xoxo Missy

38 weeks and READY

Today we had our 38 week appt. and it went really well, the Dr. said I haven't gained any weight since last week and I am now 1.5 cm. dilated and 50% effaced. I texted this to my brother who wants to be kept up to-the-minute as to when this 'eagle is landing' and he texted back 'ewww', but frankly I don't care because this just means that we are progressing!

The Dr also let me know that just in case I want to have a chat with this little chap of ours she would be on-call this Friday and Saturday so those would be good days for her. I told my parents this and they said to keep him in until Uncle Bibi gets back from saving orphans in Nicaragua (don't ask) next week and they can also be here by next weekend.

So all in all its a toss up. The ultimate decider and the one in complete control here is young Jeezy and he can come when he wants. We are now officially ready (well minus a few tasks) and our bags are packed and the car seat has been installed. I've even included a down comforter and pillow for the dad to be comfy in his hard-as-a-rock hospital bed...this eagle is free to land!
