Pablo redecorates

I've hit the 15 week mark and with that I've begun to feel a lot of cramping and discomfort. Apparently there is nothing to worry about as its just my muscles stretching out to make room for the baby.

Jack said its Pablo's 'First Place' and he is redecorating because he's not inspired by his surroundings anymore. He says he's hanging up new artwork and changing the color scheme. I think I've made Jack watch entirely too much HGTV...

14 week belly pic

My lovely brother pointed out that I look absolutely nothing like I do in my 12 wk shot. He said, "Dude, your just not that big" I explained to him it was because I took the picture after I had eaten about half a pizza. So from now on I'll make sure to take midday shots so that you all can follow along more accurately.

Ohhh, and I'm taking care of my brother's dogs for a week and they absolutely insisted on taking a picture with Pablo ;)

7 months pregnant?!?!

Not really folks, Pablo's aunt Angie thought it would be fun to make me buy maternity clothes early (and I admit she was right).

We went to Pea in the Pod where the sales associates are like vultures and asked us if we wanted juice or water about 4 different times while we were there. They were trying to get me to try on clothes but alas, we were having entirely too much fun with the 7 month bump.

I wish I had a picture of Angie to show y'all because she will be the cutest preggo woman ever, but she didn't permit such things and so your stuck with a picture of me from the future...enjoy!

I sent all of my friends who didn't know quite yet some cards with the sonogram picture in it. I've always had an affinity for The Very Hungry Caterpillar and I just love when it's used as a birthday theme!

There really is a baby in there!

After 10 pregnancy tests (one 3 days ago)and wondering if this thing growing inside of me really and truly is a baby, I was finally convinced!

Jack and I went to the Dr's yesterday for my 12wk appt. she said everything is going along as planned and as far as they can tell the baby is right on track to being completely normal and healthy.

So...Pablo's day view...The sonogram lady we had hated her life so she obviously wasn't any help in answering questions or divulging any kind of information, its ok though because our Doctor is awesome!

The baby did not want to move at all when she started her measurements/viewing (I'd like to think it was sleeping) so she jiggled the machine on my belly to the point that I almost peed myself it was so annoying and finally some movement began. Pablo must have been extremely bothered because he then proceeded to jump like crazy and roll around like mad. Jack said this hopefully means he will have future NBA skills so we are now thinking of changing the name from Pablo to LeBron...Retirement here we come!

All measurements seem to check out and we saw everything from the heartbeat, arms, legs, to even the hemispheres in its brain (which were really big and developed so hopefully this child will be a genius).

I'm really not digging this whole 'belly shot' picture thing, but to my dearest family members, I will oblige. To the rest of you...I'm just plain sorry.

FYI, this is after eating pizza for dinner so belly subject to change with/without food intake.
